Upcoming Orientation & #100DaysofProductivity

Hello again!

So this Sunday marks the official beginning of orientation week. By extension, that means it marks the official beginning of my graduate school career. And let me tell you, I am terrified! Absolutely, positively and 100% petrified! Even worse, because of this built up fear I have been, according to my boyfriend, completely emotional, bratty and pretty much inconsolable (he said it nicely, though). And it sucks because I am totally aware I’m being a pain in the butt. I just can’t help myself!

But why am I so scared? Ah! Isn’t that the question of the week.

I guess if I were to be honest with myself it’s because I’m afraid of failing. Or perhaps I’m afraid that this was all a big mistake and come orientation the university will be like SURPRISE! We didn’t mean to accept you at all! (Yeah, I have issues.) Either way, I’ve been trying to get out of this mental state all week and I’m just hoping that once I get into the swing of things I’ll realize that I’m totally meant to be here and everything will be a-okay! Well…as a-okay as grad school can get anyway…Heh.

However, with the start of grad school in mind, I’m hoping that this #100daysofproductivity tag that’s been going around the studyblr scene will at least help me mentally prepare for what’s to come. Besides, what’s more satisfying and encouraging than knowing that no matter how I’m feeling that day, I still had the courage to do something productive every day for a whole 100 days! This is my way of coping along with setting a goal list which you can read about here. Let’s see if this works!

Anyway, I guess I’ll start the challenge later today, but if your interested in seeing my progress I’ll be tagging my posts “My100Days” on both my Tumblr and on Instagram! I will also probably summarize my weekly progress in my Friday posts, but I’ll decide on that later. O:

So I guess that’s all for this blog post. To those who are scared about whatever is going on in their lives right now, I relate and we can totally do this together, no matter what it is!

Be courageous, my friends! 😀 ❤

PS: Also let me know what you want to see here. I have some ideas, but if there is anything specific that you want me to talk about just leave me a message on Tumblr, or comment below!
